As the houselights slowly dim at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport, silence mingled with anticipation fills the 2,300-seat performance hall, which has hosted a celestial gathering of stars including Aretha Franklin, Vince Gill, Yo-Yo Ma, and Ray Charles.
At first glance, Tribal Waves seems like any other musical trio out there making joyous noise. It’s only when band member Jamie Orfanella kicks off his shoes and pulls out his didgeridoos and starts to play, that one realizes this is a very different trio..jpg)
The Endless Mountains are alive with the sound of music– not an unusual, albeit oddly familiar, statement to most. Pleasantly surprising is the fact that Tunkhannock is home to a symphony orchestra. How cool is that?
