     Don't you hate it? You know your car is overdue for an oil change, but you can't spare the time it takes to drive to the garage and back, let alone sit there waiting for it to be done.
     Joe Kristan, owner of Forty Fort Lube & Service, has a solution: free pickup and delivery within the area, a convenience not offered elsewhere. You can go to work and have your oil changed before it's time to leave the office.
     Another rare but much appreciated convenience, Joe provides "full service" at his gas station pumps. No need to jump out on a cold, wet day to fill up! An attendant will do it for you at the same price per gallon as self-serve.
     The station covers just about every service your car may need, from inspections to complete tune-ups all performed by ASE-certified technicians. One is even a master technician.
     "Ray Kennedy's the high-tech guy for any vehicle," Joe said confidently. Forty Fort Lube & Service operates with four full-time mechanics and three part-time gas attendants, but Joe still likes to get out in the bays and get his hands greasy.
     "You can have all the schooling in the world but you have to stay "hands on" to not fall behind," he said, adding that he keeps updated with magazines, seminars, and software provided by parts manufacturers.
     His love for machinery started as a kid.
     "First it was the bike, then the tractor," he reminisced.
     At about 13, he performed his first oil change on his mom's car.
     "That didn't go so well," he laughed.
     Joe's expertise has certainly been fine-tuned. Now, about a year after opening the business, every available space at the pumps, in the parking lot, and at the bays, is filled. Joe also gives back to his community by donating baskets of car care products to local church bazaars and to WVIA.
     "I feel better giving to an organization that helps someone else out," he said.
