 | Yoga changed her life.
Sandy Seyler once worked as a billing accountant, where feeling stressed was part of her daily routine. She sought relief by attending yoga classes. “I would run after work to go take yoga,” she said.
Sandy’s interest in yoga grew with every lesson, and she eventually began substituting for the instructor from time to time. She later attended an Ashram in Virginia to learn yoga from a Himalayan master, Swami Satchidananda.
“He taught us that, to be a good teacher and to help others feel better about themselves, you need to take care of and be truthful to yourself- having peace and love radiate from you,” she said.

 | While working at a local gym five years ago, Tammy Greear and Georgette Pann discovered one common reason that kept some patrons from coming back.
“We noticed a lot of people felt intimidated about going into the gym,” Tammy said.
So, when Tammy and Georgette founded NutriFitness in 2005, they wanted to make it as individualized as possible, so patrons would feel comfortable about getting in shape. They didn’t want their clients to feel self-conscious.
“The atmosphere here is very personal,” Tammy said. “We’re open by appointment and when we’re running our Boot Camp. So, we don’t have outsiders coming in when you’re working out.”
