Profiles In Business Excellence:River GrilleOwners Mark and Roberta West opened the River Grille on February 18th of this year. While the restaurant may be new, the Wests bring more than 31 years of experience in the restaurant industry to offer their customers, as Mark describes, “a comfortable place that is accessible, where you can have a few drinks, enjoy a light meal with friends, or have dinner.” The River Grille offers high-quality food at reasonable prices. With a wide variety of dishes on the menu ranging from salads to casual fare and appetizers, fresh seafood, and hand-cut steaks, there is something on the menu for everyone. Mark and Roberta also run specials daily, which are items you may or may not find on the menu. If you happen to stop by on Wednesdays, besides the normal dinner menu, the River Grille offers a very unique Mexican Night. “It's important to me that my customers get excellent service and great food,” said Mark. “We make our food fresh daily. From fresh seafood to our burgers, we take pride in what is being served. Even our desserts are homemade.” Having overcome their former restaurant burning down, the Wests are very appreciative for their loyal clientele, who now frequent their new restaurant. The restaurant's modern, casual atmosphere is sure to appeal to both their former customers and new customers alike. The restaurant boasts an expansive 4,000-square-foot deck with two bars and outdoor dining available. The deck, named “Torches”, has a beautiful view overlooking the Susquehanna. “Our goal at the River Grille is to build a loyal clientele by giving the best possible service we can,” said Mark. “We strive for our customers to be able to stop in and have a great meal and an even better time.” |
