One by one the players enter onto the ice. The fans are filled with anticipation as the Star-Spangled Banner is sung. The players line up on the ice, the puck is dropped, and the dynamic plays begin. Each player brings his personal best, not only for himself, but for his team and, most importantly, for his fans.

Being a member of The Diamond City Figure Skating Club can help skaters of all levels pursue their dreams, both on and off the ice. As with any sport, it takes years of discipline, practice, and training to achieve one’s goals. Figure skating is no different. First, you need to learn how to skate and then decide how far you want to go.

The fast-paced, aggressive game of ice hockey is widely popular in NEPA, thanks to the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins. As kids stare wide-eyed at their favorite players, wishing to one day become an NHL great, one local youth has had his eyes on the prize from the ripe old age of three.
