      At the Village II Gold and Silversmith, Ron and Paula Sorick are committed to high quality, affordable jewelry repair. Their reputation for great service is a family tradition they carry on with pride.

      "We do repairs in house," says owner Paula Sorick. "In many cases, a piece of jewelry must travel to a second source for repair. We make the repair, usually within one week, right here." This tradition was started by Ron's father, John, in 1989.

      "Trust is everything," Ron said. It has built a legacy that keeps clients coming back to the Village II again and again-- even when they have left Northeastern PA."We have clients that will send their jewelry to us, then pick it up when they fly into town."

      The shop is cozy and comfortable, the repair center visible to all visitors. There, Ron can be seen with his work apron on while Paula organizes purchases and handles the business side of things. Together, this husband and wife team usher in a second generation of loyal clients.
